As-One

AEGIS is As-One's exclusive Application Services Provider. Under this role, AEGIS has managed all of As-One's infrastructure needs allowing As-One personnel to focus on their business. AEGIS' responsibilities have included: establishing and maintaining a service level agreement, providing redundant connectivity and power, establishing the security infrastructure, providing Verisign registration, and performing backups.

AEGIS has also helped develop portions of As-One's project collaboration system, providing load testing using Mercury Interactive, suggesting software architectural changes to improve performance, customer installation support at various locations throughout the United States.

UPMC Health Plan

AEGIS provided the technical leadership in the implementation of UPMC Health Plan's portal web site. The project was completed in a very short time frame (less than four months). AEGIS's role included design and development of the system at the AEGIS development center in McLean, VA, delivery, installation, and user training. This was the first production implementation of the chosen vendor's portal product, introducing additional challenges.
